New Balance 990v2 Just Dropped in a Signature Gray Colorway
Available now via HBX.
Collaborations have been a major focus from the New Balance brand as of late as it has taken on partnerships with the likes of STAUD, Salehe Bembury and Snow Peak. However, its latest drop — a New Balance 990v2 that’s styled with the company’s signature gray theme — is one that delves back into its GR lineage.
These uppers of these so-called “dad sneakers” are formed with a duo of materials including a breathable mesh that is visible across the toe boxes and collars, as well as smooth suedes which build out the overlays. Both are delivered with gray hues, but the latter fabric is presented with a slightly darker shading. Contrasting notes are found atop the laces and New Balance branding that rest on the tongues, both of which arrive in white, as well as the reflective notes which pop up on the side panel N logos and heel windows. ABZORB cushioning is loaded inside the semi-chunky midsoles to provide a stable and soft ride, and black treading rounds off its class and versatile look.
If interested, you can head over to HBX right now and cop a pair for $248 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear news, the New Balance 577 was recently unveiled with a neutral-heavy makeover.
