The Final Chapter of Netflix's 'Transformers: War for Cybertron' Is Arriving This July
Teasing at a potential ‘Beast Wars’ crossover.
During day four of its Geeked Week event over on YouTube, Netflix has finally revealed the official release date for the upcoming third chapter of the Transformers: War for Cybertron animated series, titled Kingdom.
While no trailer has been released just yet, the streaming platform showcased two new posters for the series which confirms that the third chapter will pick up immediately from where Earthrise left off. As the Autobots crashland onto Earth, we see in the foreground some familiar faces from the Beast Wars arc, including Optimus Primal, Dinobot, Rhinox, Cheetor, Tarantulas and Megatron. Netflix hasn’t provided a synopsis for Kingdom yet either, so where the series will go aside from its Beast Wars crossover is still anyone’s guess, but the streaming platform did offer fans an official release date: July 29.
As we get closer to the release date, Netflix will no doubt come out with more updates and trailers for Transformers: War for Cybertron — Kingdom, so those interested should definitely stay tuned.
