Jaguar‘s flagship sportscar — the F-TYPE — has been given an overhaul for 2022. Introducing the P450 version, Jaguar is delivering an all-V8 line-up of F-TYPE coupes and convertibles in both RWD and AWD specifications, sitting underneath the F-TYPE R as an entry-level yet still mightily powerful sportscar.

The F-TYPE P450 packs a 444 HP, 428 lb-ft of torque-producing V8 that’s more than enough for an everyday, usable sportscar. It hits 62 MPH in just 4.4 seconds regardless of it being RWD or AWD, and it will continue onto a top speed of 177 MPH. Styling is no different than the 2021 update, so the model comes with super slim LED headlights and Jaguar’s “J-Blade” daytime running lights, which come together to help sculpt the front end during the day or night.

For the F-TYPE P450 R-DYNAMIC AWD, Jaguar has added bespoke badging alongside a revised gloss black front splitter, side sills, valance, and venturi. Additionally, this model comes with auto-dimming, power-folding, heated door mirrors with memory settings, as well as 20” “Style 6003” split-spoke gloss “Dark Grey” diamond-turned rims.

Inside, details such as Windsor Leather and satin-finish “Noble Chrome” can now be specced, while 12-way electric memory front seats, electrically adjustable steering column with memory, a “Delta Aluminum” center console, and R-DYNAMIC-branded metal tread plates are all standard on the P450 R-DYNAMIC AWD, while a 12.3” infotainment touch screen is standard on all specs.

As for the F-TYPE R, the V8 delivers a hearty 575 HP which equals a 0-60 MPH time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 187 MPH. The P450 RWD starts from $69,900 USD, the AWD version will cost from $79,900 USD, and the R will cost from $103,200 USD. Take a closer look at the Jaguar F-TYPE P450 above, and find out more online.
