Tyler, the Creator Celebrates One Decade of 'Goblin'
Taking to social media to commemorate the ten-year anniversary.

Tyler, the Creator is celebrating ten years of his debut studio album Goblin, taking to social media to commemorate the decade-long anniversary.
The artist writes on Twitter, “10 YEARS SINCE…….” accompanied by the official Goblin album artwork, as well as other related graphics. He shared the same images and message on his Instagram story as well.
Since releasing the mixtape in 2011, Tyler has released four more studio albums including Wolf, Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy and Igor. Igor‘s release in 2019 marked Tyler’s most transformative album, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as well as winning Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards in 2020. At the time of the award, he believed the album should have been considered pop, saying, “When I hear that, I think ‘why can’t we just be in pop?’ Half of me feels like the rap nomination was a backhanded compliment. Like, oh, my little cousin wants to play the game, let’s give him the unplugged controller so he can shut up and feel good about it. That’s what it felt like a bit.”
Earlier this year, the Goblin single “Yonkers” officially went platinum. Widely considered as Tyler’s breakout single, the song that sprouted the artist into the industry, even though he recently revealed that he did not initially think the song would rise to popularity.
