Reebok launches a brand new sneaker review web series titled “The REEView” hosted by DJ and self-professed sneakerhead Mister Levier.

Running for the entire season, the 10 episode series covers each of the highly-anticipated collaborations the sportswear label has in store. Touching on the various aspects of sneaker culture, the show breaks down the details of the individual drops and its historical significance as well as providing exclusive insights. For this episode, Mister Levier focuses on the latest Zip 3D Storm Hydro sneaker as part of Reebok’s ongoing partnership with British concept label COTTWEILER for their “New Age Traveller” campaign.

The latest release is led by two iterations of the sneaker arriving in “Black/Beige/Orchid” and “Alabaster/Gray/Yellow”, sold exclusively through Reebok The Dubai Mall, with the complete range comprising of a full ready-to-wear offering.

Fusing old-world influences with modern technology, the sneaker takes design cues from historical spiritual pilgrimages to ancient sites — crafted from natural materials such as cotton, canvas and linen with natural pigment dyes and frayed finishes. The silhouette merges water shoes with soccer boots and includes its trademark ShelterShield shroud covering its unique lacing system, TPU components are also infused with sawdust placed atop its exaggerated Zip outsole.

The nine-piece apparel offering is split between linen-based and natural dyed cotton sets, featuring a series of convertible garments. The linen range includes a zip-up two-way jacket/vest combo and wide-leg bottoms, whilst the natural dye is transferred onto hoodies, crewnecks and shorts in silhouettes paying homage to archival Reebok pieces. Rounding off the collection is an array of accessories including socks and a bag as well as a hat serving as an extension of the SS18 “Sahara Marathon” collection, reimagined with natural materials all adopting a neutral color palette.

The latest COTTWEILER x Reebok “New Age Traveller” collection is available to purchase now exclusively at Reebok The Dubai Mall with the new Zip 3D Storm Hydro sneaker retailing for AED 849 (approximately $231 USD). Be sure to keep up to date with the “The REEView” episodes hosted by Mister Levier via the brand’s Instagram and YouTube channel.
