Patta Pays Homage to Muhammad Ali With Latest Four-Piece Capsule

Patta has built on its recent AC Milan collaboration with Kappa by teaming up with famed Brooklyn-based photographer Peter Angelo Simon and publisher Reel Art Press for a unique capsule collection.

Simon — whose work has been featured in the New York Times magazine and the Smithsonian Institute — has captured some of the biggest names across sport and culture in years gone by, most notably former world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali.

Honing in on the images of the boxer used in Simon’s hardcover book Muhammad Ali: Fighter’s Heaven, the trio come together to produce a unique four-piece apparel collection that’s set to drop later this week. The images — which have only previously been seen in the 2016 book — adorn a selection of T-shirts and a hoodie, in a capsule dubbed “Patta Fighters Heaven” and are showcased in a lookbook featuring Dutch boxing legend Arnold Vanderlyde.

The full collection will be available in quantities from May 29 via the Patta webstore.
