Detailed Look at the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Low "University Gold"
Virgil Abloh and the Swoosh revisit the iconic lifestyle silhouette.
In the modern era of sneakers where collaborations reign supreme, the team-ups between Virgil Abloh and Nike continue to garner a sizable amount of attention. There’s plenty more to come from these two parties in terms of footwear releases, one being the highly anticipated Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Low “University Gold”.
Spotted in-hand by the designer himself back in early March of this year as he signed a pair for none other than four-time NBA champion LeBron James, the kicks have now revealed themselves by way of detailed on-foot imagery. There isn’t anything new here from a design perspective as the lifestyle kicks are presented with the usual metallic silver side Swooshes that are dressed with exposed stitchings and an orange tab, and the Helvetica font branding is once again printed via “Air” on the lateral midsoles and Beaverton notations on the medial side. The main difference here is the bold coloring as its “University Gold” hue dominates the shoe across its leather base layer and entire sole unit.
Early reports have these slated to launch sometime in July 2021, but Nike or Off-White™ have yet to confirm this.
