Nike Air Max Plus Gets Outfitted With Sherbert-Like Colors
A Summer-appropriate take of the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette.

Nike’s Air Max Plus has been pushing out new colorways throughout 2021 at a rather steady pace, and now it’s set to build out its family tree with a brand new “Laser Orange/Siren Red/Fuchsia Glow” colorway. This colorway has emerged not too far off from the silhouette’s “Psychic Blue” offering.
On this latest installment, the Sean McDowell-designed model has been reimagined with a Summer-y sherbert palette. Mesh uppers are given a gradient effect that kicks off with “Laser Orange” along the toe boxes and heightened parts of the mid-foot before it fades out into white as you move towards the rear. Ribbed molds that affix across the base layer also participate in the two-toned action by commencing with “Siren Red” towards the top before transitioning downwards into “Fuchsia Glow”. A small dosage of black also makes its presence felt through the mudguards, tongues, lace loops, throat borders and outlines of the angelic Swooshes. If you move downwards, you’ll find the midsoles treated with black outers towards the forefoot and heels while the mid-sections are done up with white, pink and red accents. Exposed Air units are filled in with more “Siren Red” coloring.
These have now sold out on Nike’s web store, but a restock and/or other retailers could be dropping them in the coming weeks.
