James Gunn Reveals New Image of Idris Elba as Bloodsport in 'The Suicide Squad'
Alongside Ratcatcher 2, The Thinker and Polka Dot Man.
The Suicide Squad director James Gunn recently took to Instagram to share a new image from the highly-anticipated DC Comics film.
The shot was accompanied by the caption, “Squad Undercover in Corto Maltese: Ratcatcher 2, The Thinker, Bloodsport, & Polka Dot Man in #TheSuicideSquad,” seemingly alluding to other characters from the film played by Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Idris Elba and David Dastmalchian.
The Suicide Squad is expected to serve as soft reboot of the 2016 Suicide Squad film from David Ayer, which follows an assortment of characters on the island of Corto Maltese as they take part in Task Force X. The film features a slew of high-profile casts members including Margot Robbie, Taika Waititi, Sylvester Stallone and John Cena.
The Suicide Squad is set to release in the U.K. on July 30 and in the U.S. and on HBO Max on August 6.
