First Glimpse of Dover Street Market's Upcoming Nike Dunk Low Collaboration
The luxury retailer wraps the iconic model in monochromatic velour.
Dover Street Market is known to take on a variety of collaborative projects for footwear and apparel each year, the former of which has already been seen in 2021 via team-ups with Vans and Converse. Now, the luxury retailer is tallying up one more partnership with Nike that entails an elevated take of the Dunk Low.
The kicks are cooked up with a monochromatic motif, and sport a luxe aesthetic given that the toe boxes, side walls and heel sections are treated with a soft velour material. Tongues, while deviating with its usual synthetic nylon fabric, is presented with a clean white skin that matches up with the low-profile kick’s shoe laces. In term’s of additional embellishments, the retailer swaps out the traditional Nike heel branding for its DSM acronym and tosses in an extra embroidered check to the forefoot in tonal gray. Moving south to its bottom piece, the midsoles and outsoles alike are whipped up with the all-white look to continue with the shoe’s ultra clean theme.
A release date is still unknown, but it’s likely that Dover Street Market stores will be launching these in the upcoming months.
