The Milanese brand Formy Studio – the brainchild of designer Domenico Formichetti — is known for its graphic and colourful approach to clothing. So, fittingly, the label’s most recent drop is an homage to one of Italy’s renowned colorists, Marco Petrus.

The collection, which comprises, printed separates and accessories, blends blue, ivory, green alongside lilac and orange, rendered in geometric patterns and psychedelic color combinations.

Petrus, whose practice extends back over the last two decades, is best-known for his abstract compositions, which have been the subject of worldwide exhibitions. His work tends to draw inspiration from Italian urban landscapes.

The collection is releasing in a series of drops beginning next week on May 20. Pieces will continue to release every two days, all the way through to early June.

Cop the collection when it lands at Formy Studio’s webstore next week.
