Heritage label Baracuta has unveiled a new link up with BYBORRE, tapping into the Dutch label’s material innovation expertise. The three-piece collection incorporates Baracuta’s well-known tartan motif, updating the print across a 3D Vest, as well as the brand’s G4 and G9 jackets.
All three items in the capsule were constructed from the cutting-edge Sinterama Newlife fabric, which is constructed from recycled plastic produced from plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy. Additionally, the pieces are all finished with a new version of Baracuta’s Fraser Tartan.
For the 3D Tartan Vest, Baracuta and BYBORRE have created a reversible item with a different colored fabric appearing on the other side. The G4 jacket comes with an updated fit, while its collar has been removed to allow the jacket to be layered with other pieces. The G4 is then finished with metallic and technical details. Rounding out the collection is the Harrington-inspired G9, which sees the iconic silhouette updated into the new fabric.
Each item features a special logo with its own serial number, and is strictly limited to just 50 pieces, with every one coming with a free BYBORRE x Baracuta tote bag. The full capsule is available now from the Baracuta web store.
