adidas Looks to the Archive for 2021/22 Arsenal Away Kit
Arriving in a “Pearl Citrine” color.
adidas Football has begun preparations for the 2021/22 season, revealing the away jersey that will be worn by Arsenal. The new kit is inspired by the Arsenal archive, and particularly the away shirt worn 50 years ago, as the team won an historic FA Cup and League double.
The away jersey is dressed in an eye-catching “Pearl Citrine” pale yellow, complete with “Collegiate Navy” detailing and hits of “Scarlet.” One of the navy details is an all new cannon emblem, which replaced the club crest on the jersey for the first time since the 1988-1990 kits.
This new crest will also feature on the shorts and socks, which are dressed in “Collegiate Navy” and “Pearl Citrine” respectively. Another key detail is the “Arsenal for Everyone” logo, which features on the back of the neck in tribute to the diversity of the Arsenal family.
Take a look at the jersey, as worn by a number of Arsenal players, in the gallery above. The kit is available now from the adidas web store, adidas stores and official club stores, it will release more widely on May 21.
