Snarkitecture and Gufram Revive "Broken" Series Collaboration in Pink
“Inspired by a piece of classic bubblegum.”

New York architecture and design studio Snarkitecture, along with the Italian furniture brand Gufram revives their 2017 furniture collaboration series “Broken” in an unexpected shade of pink.
Back in 2017, Gufram and Snarkitecture collaborated on a collection of mirrors that launched at Fuorisalone, Milan, and trickled down to an addition of a stone-like bench that gave off a hard appearance yet with an unexpected softness.
The new pastel pink furniture collection was created as an all-pink showcase for K11 MUSEA’s Art Karnival event in Hong Kong.
“Over the last year, we’ve worked closely with the Gufram team to capture a unique shade of pink,” said Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen of Snarkitecture in an interview with Wallpaper*. “Inspired by a piece of classic bubblegum, adding a new layer of playfulness to the “Broken” series.”
The Italian brand has also integrated the bubblegum shade into their miniature collection called “Guframini” composed of mini versions of the “Bocca” sofa, “Cactus” coat stand and more. Check out the “Guframini” pink edition on K11 Design Store.
