Drake Congratulates "God’s Plan" Scholarship Recipient Receiving Master’s Degree

With many students now celebrating their graduation, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate Destiny James recently received a very special congratulations from Drake.

The Canadian artist decided to comment “LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DES” on James’ Instagram post noting she is just four days away from being a member of the UNC Alum. Back in 2018, James was featured in Drake’s “God’s Plan” music video receiving part of the $996,631.90 USD budget for the visual as part of a scholarship.

The $50,000 USD contribution would go towards helping her complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. Destiny James is set to receive her master’s degree in public health, a special pursuit for the student following he father’s passing from lung cancer in 2016.
