Curry Brand Announces the Release of the Curry 8 "Class-y"
Inspired by Sonya Curry’s lifelong commitment to being an educator and crafted in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.
Since launching back in November 2020, Curry Brand has rolled out several footwear offerings at a steady pace, many of which have gone into depth with storytelling by nodding to Black History Month, Steph’s love for Dub Nation and support for local artists. Now the three-point marksman and his Under Armour camp are sending yet another Curry 8 colorway into our midst dubbed the “Class-y”. This particular rendition draws inspiration from his mother Sonya Curry’s dedication to becoming an educator and was made to pay homage to Teacher Appreciation Week.
The presentation of these hardwood-ready kicks is rather straightforward as only two tones are brought to the table for styling. Mesh materials that form the uppers, along with the synthetic mudguards are tinted with a blush pink outer. A subtle hint of white pops up along the tongue tabs via Curry‘s signature logo. Under Armour’s Flow cushioning is loaded up inside the bottom piece to provide wearers with a substantial amount of responsiveness and is housed inside a full white midsole and outsole.
The Golden State Warriors‘ three time champion’s next installment is set to drop via Under Armour on May 7 under the customary $160 price point.
