BTS' Peculiar Hour Long Butter Melting Video Has Over 15 Million Views

Early last week (April 26), BTS premiered a peculiar video of a slab of butter melting accompanied by sizzling sounds on YouTube. With over 300,000 fans tuning in during the premiere, the hour and 27-second video served as a teaser for the K-pop supergroup’s second English-language single set to arrive next month. HYBE Corporation reveals that “Butter” will be a “dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.”

Anticipating the upcoming release, the BTS ARMY has been actively showing their support for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Constantly viewing the animated butter video, the visual has now amassed over 15 million views. Currently, the “Butter” video has exactly 15,190,517 views and is expected to continue to increase as the release of the single approaches.

BTS’ “Butter” English-language single is expected to release May 21, 12 a.m. EST.
