The late-night comedy showcase produced a spin-off sketch of the chart-topping artist’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” music video early last month, spoofing the performer giving a lap dance to Jesus to “even things out” after grinding on Satan in the music video. Now, the rapper has landed the highly-coveted musical guest slot on the final episode of the 46th season of the series, alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, who will play host.
“Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” is the first single off of Nas X’s forthcoming album, also titled Montero, so the new song will likely be the second single to arrive off of the soon-to-be-released track list.
The variety television show also announced that actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key will host the May 15 episode, alongside musical guest Olivia Rodrigo.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk is gearing up to host this weekend’s episode of the late-night show, with Miley Cyrus taking the musical guest slot. In fact, the Tesla CEO is actually soliciting last minute sketch ideas for his appearance on Twitter.
