After cancelling last year’s festival due to the coronavirus pandemic, Governors Ball is welcoming back live music with a star-studded 10th anniversary festival, scheduled to take place from September 24-26 in Queens, New York, with over 60 artists set to perform.
Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin and Post Malone are set to headline the music festival, while Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, 21 Savage, Big Thief, 24kGoldn, Young Thug, Ellie Goulding, Carly Rae Jepsen, Orville Peck, Dominic Fike, Burna Boy, King Princess and more have scheduled sets.

The festival has relocated from its typical Governor’s Island venue to Queens’ Citi Field complex, home to the New York Mets. A digital rendering of the new setup maps out the locations for each stage, some of which will be constructed in the outdoor spaces surrounding the venue.
“Building a recovery for all of us means reconnecting with the iconic events that make New York City the greatest travel destination in the world,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement. “As more New Yorkers become vaccinated by the day, we’re proud to support arts and culture and welcome back Governors Ball and their fantastic lineup, including New York City’s own Princess Nokia, A$AP Rocky, and King Princess, among others.”
Presale tickets for the festival are now available on the Governors Ball website for those holding Citi credit cards and Citibank-issued debit cards. For early-bird purchases, three-day General Admission passes are marked at $279 USD and single-day passes are set at $129 USD. VIP tickets are listed at $269 USD for a single-day pass and $609 USD for a three-day pass. There is also a “platinum” three-day pass available for $2,399 USD, which grants guests front-stage access, food and beverages and several other perks. For those who do not have access to the Citi presale, general tickets will be available to purchase beginning Thursday, May 6, at 12 p.m. EDT.
