The Air Jordan 1 "Crimson Tint" Is Back ... Kind Of
It’s an Air Jordan 1 Low, and it’s called “Arctic Orange” this time around.
Jordan Brand released an Air Jordan 1 “Crimson Tint” in 2019, and now the popular style is coming back — kind of — thanks to a new Air Jordan 1 Low. Though its colorblocking is identical to the “Crimson Tint,” this low-cut Air Jordan 1 is in fact dubbed “Arctic Orange” and boasts a few special pieces of its own.
A signature “Arctic Orange” hue is mostly present on the shoe’s front and rear, namely the toebox, heel, collar and midfoot Swoosh. Mudguards, quarter panels and eyestays are done up in black for contrast. Though the “Arctic Orange” is mostly constructed of leather, it features a poofy black nylon tongue with an orange Jumpman logo. Heels get in on the branded flair as well, as they’re embroidered with an OG black ball-and-wings logo, Michael Jordan‘s signature graphic in 1985 and 1986 before Tinker Hatfield debuted the now-iconic Jumpman in 1987. Crisp white midsoles and stark black outsoles round off the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Arctic Orange” is set to release at retailers like Afew come May 11, and is priced at a standard $110 USD. A US release will likely follow in the coming weeks.
