Elon Musk Solicits 'SNL' Sketch Ideas Through Twitter
Sharing his own pitches like “Woke James Bond” and “Irony Man.”
Elon Musk is adding fuel to the Saturday Night Live fire, after taking to Twitter to solicit sketch ideas from his fans.
Musk asks his trusted followers to pitch him some SNL sketch ideas as he readies himself for his hosting gig this May 2021. SNL cast members recently expressed their disdain of Musk hosting, however, the call for concepts online appears to add more negative noise to the narrative.
Recently, Musk asks his 52.5 million Twitter followers, “Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?” He proceeded to announce three pitches of his own including, “Woke James Bond,” “Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge to form Baby Shark Tank” and “Irony Man – defeats villains using the power of irony.” Fans have taken the opportunity to share their ideas as well as provide feedback on Musk’s original three. According Deadline fans have suggested ideas such as, “Extraterrestrials found your Tesla Roadster sent to space in 2018 & are trying to figure out what it is.”

How about a skit where a selfish billionaire has a tantrum and makes a showy to-do about moving his factory to another state, but that new state is so dysfunctional it has a third-world power grid and runs out of electricity to run his factories and cars? That would be hilarious.
