adidas YEEZY SLIDE Appears in Vivid "Glow Green"
Another one for the summer rotation.
It’s a well-known fact that Kanye West is a fan of muted colors, but you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise given a number of recent adidas x YEEZY appearances that have given us the likes of the QNTM in “Flash Orange,” the 700 MNVN in “Honey Flux,” and the FOAM RNNR in “Ochre.” Following in this theme is another bold pair, this time showcasing the YEEZY SLIDE in “Glow Green.”
Revealed by Yeezy Mafia, the slide follows on from more common-place muted versions such as “Core” and the popular “Bone” iteration. Like the pairs before it, the slide is made from super comfortable and cushy injected EVA foam that looks swollen and bulbous, giving the pair its smooth and round aesthetic.
Because of its eye-catching and immediately identifiable design, very little branding appears. On the footbed we find adidas’ logo, while the outsole is sans-branded but does feature a full-length display of grooves that add traction and further help define the YEEZY SLIDE’s side profile.
Yeezy Mafia says a release is set for August 2021, and as usual adult sizes will cost $60 USD. Stay tuned to HYPEBEAST for more information as news unfolds.
