Salomon Drops Fresh Takes of Its Classic XA PRO Silhouette
The first remake of the classic 2001 sneaker.

Salomon’s astronomic rise into the world of fashion is something to be admired. From its alpine beginnings in the southeast of France, to collaborations with the likes of COMME des GARÇONS and Palace, the brand has become one of fashion’s favourite footwear brands.
Now following last month’s release alongside Better™ Gift Shop, Salomon returns with the first reworked version of its XA PRO — a classic running silhouette from the early 2000s — dubbed the XA PRO 1.
With the same racing design and branding as the original, the XA PRO 1 boasts a flexible 3D mesh upper with synthetic overlays. The technical-looking sneaker also houses the Quicklace system Salomon has become renowned for, while a gusseted tongue provides protection from anything entering your shoe while on the move.
The epochal Contagrip down below offers support on harsh terrain and is completed with a supportive EVA midsole for ultimate comfort.
Arriving in either purple, blue or an all black colorway Salomon’s XA PRO 1 is available to buy now from the size? webstore retailing at £125 (approximately $175 USD).
