The Internet is Convinced That New Balance's 57/40 Contains Hidden Swooshes

New Balance‘s lifestyle-centric 57/40 silhouette is making headlines in the footwear world as of late, but it’s probably not for the reason you think.

As the user Cesar Valdes points out, the modern take on the 574 sees what appears to be mini “Swooshes” at the sides of the toebox. It is even more noticeable when the suede mudguard is layered with a white leather panel underneath — this is most apparent in the Red, Yellow and blue M5740GD colorway.

While this is most likely just pure coincide given the angle of the photos, the online reactions have been quite entertaining. What do you think? Do you see the Swoosh or is it too much of a reach?
