Megan Thee Stallion has just announced she’ll be taking a break from her music career. The Grammy-winning rapper will be going on hiatus.

Megan has been busy over the last couple of years, and many were expecting her to keep up that momentum. Recently, she changed her profile picture across her social accounts and it spurred some speculation for new music. Instead, it was part of her announcement of her hiatus. The new profile picture mirrored a trio of posts on Instagram, each futuristic graphic renderings of her imagined in a watertank. On the third post, there’s a digital readout that says, “Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what’s next. ….In her absence; mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. [[Thee Hotties]] lead a brave //RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain!”
