Back by popular demand, Krispy Kreme is fueling the strawberry glaze craze with a limited release of its Strawberry Glazed Doughnut and Strawberry Kreme Filled Doughnut.

Both doughnuts feature the brand’s iconic sweet, pastel pink glaze, sure to hit the taste buds with a burst of red berry punch. Like its name, the Strawberry Kreme Filled doughnut includes Krispy Kreme’s signature strawberry flavoring, first offered in 2020. Krispy Kreme introduced the flavors in a springtime trio last year, including key lime and lemon.

On the regular menu, the chain sells two versions of its strawberry iced doughnuts, with and without sprinkles, as well as two powdered doughnuts with two different strawberry fillings. In a statement, Krispy Kreme’s Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said, “Last year, fans couldn’t get enough of Strawberry Glaze and have been asking for it to come back ever since. So we’re bringing it back. Hurry in and enjoy!”

The revival of its strawberry glazed doughnuts comes after Krispy Kreme concluded its limited run of the Oreo-glazed doughnuts. Both the Strawberry Glazed Doughnut and Strawberry Kreme Filled Doughnut will be sold between April 26 to March 6, 2021 in participating locations only.

In other food & beverage news, the latest Guinness Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer is a bold amalgamation of flavors.
