New Guinness Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Beer Is a Bold Amalgamation of Flavors
Delivering a rich and smooth palate with hints of espresso, chocolate and caramel.
Guinness is back with another nitrogenated concoction, this time bridging two fan favorites into one. The Guinness Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer promises the perfect balance of bitter and sweet with a roast coffee flavor. The drink is brewed using coffee flavors from cold brew coffee extract to create a reach, creamy and smooth palate that incorporates hints of chocolate and caramel on top of the espresso.
Since 1959, Guinness has been the alcohol industry’s go-to for nitro beer. As the brewers of the world’s most popular nitro stout, the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer is becoming a permanent addition to the American Guinness portfolio. It first began appearing on shelves in March 2021, and will now roll out nationwide. The U.S. will be the first market to enjoy the latest offering coming out of St James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin. Though coffee-flavored, the Nitro Cold Brew beer will not feature any added caffeine outside of the natural flavoring.
In order to enjoy the nitro-infused beverage at its fullest, Guinness suggests fans to drink straight from the can or pour into a glass to fully activate the widget inside the can. The widget ensures the nitrogen is properly integrated into the beer, recreating the brand’s signature surge and settle effect one may get from enjoying a Guinness Draught on tap.
