Fashion can be unexpected at times, and we’re comfortable in assuming that no one was ready for Spring/Summer 2021‘s next trend: aprons. Following on from Jil Sander’s range that exercised its meticulous and minimalist nature comes another apron, this time from Japanese stalwart have a good time.

Aptly logo-adorned, this apron explores have a good time’s love for all things simple yet somehow striking. Sure, it’s made from 100-percent beige-toned undyed cotton and it may feature a rather rudimentary fastening system at the rear (unlike Jil Sander’s) but that’s where the commonplace touches end. Bold red branding is stamped asymmetrically on the front, overlapping a large front pocket perfect for holding all your kitchen goods — or, if it’s more of a fashion apron, things such as your phone and keys.

The only other details on the apron are the rivets on the front pockets, the rings on the rear, and the front flap that’s trimmed — like the rest of the piece — with tonal stitching.
