Nike Air Max Tailwind IV "Platinum Tint" Boasts Bold Reflective Accents

And a chilly color scheme.

Its deluge of releases from 2019 and 2020 may have slowed to a mere trickle, but Nike‘s Air Max Tailwind IV is still appearing in the occasional new makeup — the latest of which is a brisk “Platinum Tint.” Mixing chilly tones with warm pops of branding and a heaping helping of hi-vis reflective accents, the “Platinum Tint” is full of Nike Sportswear flair.

The shoe’s top half is constructed from a crisp white mesh. This sporty base layer is overlaid with white leather, trimmed in silver and bolstered by signature TPU strips on the quarter. When the lights go down, the leather overlays go up: each uses hi-vis reflective material that shimmers under a flash. Branding is provided by small Swooshes on the toebox, midfoot and heel, all of which are presented in orange. Down below, a white EVA foam midsole with cool blue Air Max units and an icy blue outsole equipped with a TN badge complete the look.

Interested parties can acquire a pair of the Nike Air Max Tailwind IV “Platinum Tint” on the Nike webstore now. The MSRP is set at $160.
