Shawn Yue's MADNESS and Converse Addict Prepare Special Chuck Taylor All-Star High
Featuring a washed black canvas upper, special branding and more.
Shawn Yue‘s MADNESS and Converse Addict — a Converse Japan sub-label that’s focused on replicating classic Converse style — have teamed up for a special Chuck Taylor All-Star High. Featuring doubled-up logos and subtle detailing, the high-cut Chuck offers versatile style and understated flair in equal measures.
Black canvas uppers feature a washed finish for a look that’s not dissimilar to a well-loved pair of black denim. Each boasts familiar white contrast stitching, silver eyelets and white laces, but the lateral collar’s All-Star logo is where the shoe’s most unique detail is at play. A yin and yang of colorblocking arrives with a white All-Star graphic on the right shoe and a black All-Star embellishment on the left. Directly below these badges sit a touch of technical text and a MADNESS wordmark logo in matching tones. White midsoles with black foxing and black Vibram rubber outsoles round off each look.
Look for the MADNESS x Converse Addict Chuck Taylor All-Star High to release at N.HOOLYWOOD, GR8 and Offshore come March 20. The price is set at a tax-included ¥30,800 JPY (approximately $288 USD).
