adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 To Release in "Cream"
The chunky style from ‘Ye and the Three Stripes is returning after an extended hiatus.
Kanye West and adidas are set to bring back the YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 in a “Cream” colorway. A chunky style that first arrived in December 2018, the YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 has taken a backseat to its slimmer, BOOST-less successor — the YEEZY 700 V3 — in recent months. Notwithstanding, its springtime return to market is a decidedly welcome one for West’s legions of lifestyle acolytes.
With a gray mesh base, curved silver stripe overlays and an eggshell-colored heel clip, the “Cream” offers several similarities to the YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Static.” However, it earns its moniker with cream-colored mudguards, eyestays and forefoot overlays. A soft tan colorway appears on the toe cap to complete the upper’s exploration of light earth tones. Down below, the thick white EVA foam midsole adds dashes of tan to its elongated oval detailing for further flair and holds a slab of soft BOOST cushioning for comfort. Gray outsoles with a herringbone traction pattern round off the look.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Cream” will supposedly release on March 13, though this has yet to be confirmed by adidas. The MSRP will be set at $300 USD.
