Journal Standard Reveals Exclusive New Balance 327 Colorway
A crisp gray and white style with JS’ signature blue hue on the midfoot branding.

Japan’s Journal Standard has teamed with New Balance for an exclusive colorway of the 327. Combining Journal Standard’s signature blue hue with New Balance’s familiar gray shades, the exclusive release aims to showcase both participants’ eye for elevated quality and elegant designs.
Made of a dark gray nylon that’s overlaid by a softer-toned gray suede, the upper gives off a retro look somewhat reminiscent of the first two models from adidas‘ YEEZY BOOST 700 line when viewed from the top down thanks to its forked toebox overlay. Though this is purely coincidental, what’s decidedly intentional is the rich blue shade used on the midfoot’s large N logo, a direct nod to Journal Standard’s signature color. A New Balance text hit is debossed on the medial heel, and the look is finalized with a white midsole and black nubbed rubber outsole. This marks Journal Standard’s second exclusive NB style in less than a year: June 2020 saw the arrival of a durable 996 made of soft suede and Cordura nylon.
Journal Standard’s exclusive New Balance 327 is available for pre-order on the Journal Standard webstore, with an estimated delivery date of mid-April. The MSRP is set at ¥10,890 JPY (approximately $100 USD), and is inclusive of tax.
