Edison Chen and Kevin Poon‘s CLOT has been extremely active in the world of footwear over the past few weeks, working with
Steeped in rich tones and bold detailing, CLOT’s latest Air Max 1 uses two soft, shaggy suedes on its upper. The mudguard is done up in dark brown while the quarter and heel take on a tan shade, but both pieces surround the shoe’s signature translucent toebox. If you look through this toebox, you can see the detailed reflexology print on the insoles.
Elsewhere, Swooshes take on rich red leather to match the red CLOT embroidery on the brown nubuck heel piece. Tongues are made of supple brown leather, adorned with a tan suede Nike Sportswear tag and covered by brown laces. Down below, brown midsoles house a red heel Air Max unit. The look is completed by a translucent outsole with a familiar logo-equipped foot chart graphic.
The CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “K.O.D. CHA” is set to debut during CLOT’s FW21 “DYNASTY” show in Shanghai on March 27. It’ll then release at JUICE locations across China in the following weeks.
