Insta360 has just unveiled its newest action camera the GO 2. This video camera improves upon the first iteration in a big way with a new design that sees both a camera and a charging case — both acting as one unit.
Weighing just 26.5 grams, or just slightly bigger than the AirPods Pro’s earphone case, the GO 2 records at 2560×1440 @ 50fps and 1920×1080 @ 120fps slow-motion. The action cam also features FlowState stabilization, 2.5 hours of battery life, an IPX8 waterproof rating (4 meters), and a ton of in-camera software for functions like hyperlapse, real-time previewing, timelapse, and Aquavision. The case is equally impressive as it acts as a protective case, charger, controller, and tripod all in one.
Making this camera even more versatile is the plethora of accessories that are available for the GO 2 including a pet harness, car adapter, ND filters, magnet pendant, lens guard, cap easy clip, pivot stand, and headband. Those interested in this new camera can find it over on Insta360’s website for a price of $299 USD. They have also just teased a Minions version which will be coming out this summer.
