GM's Electric Hummer Takes on the Sub-Zero Wilderness
More news regarding the new EV is set to come in April.
GM may have revealed most of the specs of its all-new electric Hummer over the past months, but the American automaker says that there’s still more to the EV’s story, and it has taken the car out for a spin in the sub-zero wilderness to catch your attention.
Going off-road in snow-filled terrain, the Hummer exhibits its handling capabilities across various slippery and difficult surfaces over the course of the 40-second clip. Pushing out a whopping 1,000 horsepower through all four wheels, the new EV packs a massive 24-module Ultium battery pack to give it a range of 350 miles. Off-roading is made easy thanks to a fully independent suspension system with adaptive air shocks that provide a height adjustment of six inches, which can increase by another six inches on “Extract Mode.”
At the end of the video, GM announces that more news about its newest Hummer EV will come on April 3 at 5:00 p.m. EST, so those interested should definitely mark their calendars.
