EA Sports is Bringing Back Its 'PGA Tour' Golf Game for the First Time Since 2015
The return of a classic.

For the first time since 2015, EA Sports has announced a new PGA TOUR golf game.
Currently in development, the game will allow players to build their own virtual careers, participating in the PGA TOUR through events such as THE PLAYERS Championship, the FedExCup Playoffs, and more. It’ll also bring some of the world’s most famous courses and best players currently on the tour.
“EA SPORTS and the PGA TOUR have created some of the most memorable golf video game experiences together, and we couldn’t be more excited to expand our sports portfolio with a new golf title on next-gen hardware,” EA Sports’ EVP and GM CAm Weber said in a statement. “Our team of passionate golf fans is meticulously recreating the world’s top courses such as Pebble Beach, and we can’t wait to give fans the opportunity to compete on some of the most iconic PGA TOUR courses and win the FedExCup.”
While specific details remain scarce at this point, EA Sports says that it’ll be revealing more in the coming weeks, and announce an official launch date in the coming months.
Elsewhere in gaming, CD Projekt Red has finally released patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077.
