AURALEE and foot the coacher are no strangers to partnership, having joined together for various leather shoes in past seasons, tackling a variety of quirky, low-key kicks that match AURALEE’s minimalist aesthetic. The Japanese brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is no different, matching a host of sleek, flowing garb with a new selection of understated footwear silhouettes.
This time, foot the coacher has cooked up a twist on its barely-there Barefoot Sandal, swapping in a custom cushioned sole with square toe and a less strappy closure for snug fit. Now dubbed the Belted Beach Sandal, it’s imagined in both yellow/beige and brown/navy makeups.
Meanwhile, the slip-on is classic AURALEE: no branding, no extraneous accents, just a plush cow leather upper and understated elastic gusset for easy on-off. Olive Khaki and black iterations both feature identical moldable uppers and trim crepe soles for maximum ease and comfort.
