ASICS has had a busy start to 2020, with collaborations alongside Kiko Kostadinov, PENSOLE Academy, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT and Kengo Kuma. Now though for spring, the sneaker brand readies a fresh silhouette that draws inspiration from some of its most popular sneakers.
Taking notes from the GEL-Venture 7 trail runner and tooling from the GEL-Quantum 180, the Venture 180 is designed for the “urban explorer”. Boasting a midsole that reduces impact on every step, comfort is paramount thanks to a soft Ortholite sockliner underfoot.
Arriving in either “Black/Sour Yuzu”, “Pure Silver/Graphite Grey” or Wood Crepe/Black”, the new ASICS GEL-Venture 180 is set to drop on the brand’s website on April 12, retailing at £110 (approximately $153 USD).
In other sneaker news, Salomon has given its XT-Wings 2 ADV sneaker a dressing down.
