After celebrating 14 patient designers from the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Program through an auction-only installment and unloading a UNC-friendly colorway, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is ready to start rolling out more of its SS21 offerings. On deck, the iconic silhouette is set to proffer up its vibrantly styled “Light Fusion Red” colorway which has just surfaced by way of official imagery.
For its visual composition, the high-top silhouette leans towards a collection of Summer-y hues to purloin all of the attention. Upper halves — which are formed with a leather build — get manufactured with the ankle flaps, forefoot, throat and lower heels being dressed in its nominal hue, while “Laser Orange” deposits to the Swooshes and ankle collars. If you take a gander at the tongues, you will also notice that the Nike branding takes these accenting colors and mashes them together to form a sunset-like gradience. Elsewhere on the base, the laces, perforated toe boxes and quarter paneling lean on a clean white backdrop.
Placed underneath all of that are midsoles and treading which come designed with simple white and black color-blocking to round off its full design.
Early reports have these dropping on June 21, 2021 for the standard $170 USD price point via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
