Wendy’s Gets Spicy With Its New Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich

Bringing some heat to the ongoing Chicken Wars, Wendy’s is now introducing its all-new Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich and Salad. The Queen of Spice is looking to step away from its competition by offering a hot taste experience with its two new menu items.
The Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich features a breaded and fried spicy chicken fillet paired with creamy jalapeño cream cheese and jalapeño slices. Accenting the hot mix is three slices of Applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese and warm cheddar cheese sauce all held between a fluffy bun. Carrying over the spicy elements, the accompanying Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad sees a bed of mixed lettuce topped with spicy chicken, applewood smoked bacon, slices of jalapenos and shredded pepper jack. Additional elements of flavor come in the form of juicy diced tomatoes, jalapeño ranch dressing and crispy jalapeño cheddar croutons.
Priced at $5.99 and $6.79 USD, the Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich and Salad is available now at Wendy’s locations nationwide.
