Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Under Armour Release "Breaking Barriers" Collection
Centered around a fresh colorway of the Project Rock 3 plus a new BSR silhouette and rugged-yet-comfy slides.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Under Armour are continuing their extensive partnership with a new “Breaking Barriers” collection. Drawing inspiration from The Rock’s rigorous workout regimen, featuring The Rock himself and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and consisting of two fresh Project Rock 3 colorways, a new BSR takedown silhouette, cozy slides and a wide swath of workout apparel, “Breaking Barriers” aims to provide high-performance, high-energy workout gear.
Neon and gray/neon makeups of the Project Rock 3 are the centerpiece of the offerings, using a knit upper, stable TriBase footbed and HOVR midsole cushioning to ensure comfort and support for even the heaviest lifts. The BSR — short for Blood.Sweat.Respect — is a budget-friendly cross training option that calls upon UA Charged foam cushioning and has debuted in red, black and white. Both the Project Rock 3 and BSR also prominently feature The Rock’s signature brahma bull logo.
Not pictured here, slides supply a cozy foam build reinforced with Michelin rubber WildGripper outsoles. Apparel includes tees, hoodies, tanks, sweats, shorts, leggings and more, but the standout piece is a bull-adorned tank that, when wet with sweat, reveals an extra “Hardest Worker In the Room” print.
The Rock and Under Armour’s “Breaking Barriers” collection is available now via the Under Armour webstore. Both Project Rock 3s are priced at $140 USD, all of the BSRs retail for $100 USD, slides can be had for $65 USD and apparel ranges from $35-75 USD.
