Reception Returns With Optimistic Fall 2021 Collection
Inspired by the belief that there are better days ahead.
French label Reception has revealed the lookbook for its Fall 2021 collection, taking inspiration from upheaval of the 21st century and the belief that there are better days ahead. Overall, the collection strikes an optimistic tone, which is showcased through embroidery and slogans throughout.
Stand-out items in the Fall 2021 collection include a range of raglan overcoats and houndstooth pieces that have been created in collaboration with Abraham Moon & Sons. Elsewhere, slogans declare “Before the Mountain Fell” and share a desire for “Poetry,” while embroidered items sport motifs such as a bottle of beer and a flying dove. The collection’s title — “A Nameless Journey” — also appears on various pieces.
All of the items are produced in Portugal using premium fabrics from Portuguese, English and Italian mills. The collection also features a color palette inspired by the natural world, featuring tones of sage green, chocolate brown and dark blue.
