Titanium Franck Muller Doubles as a Cold Storage Bitcoin Wallet
The new Encrypto can only be purchased using cryptocurrency.
Franck Muller is adding to the list of complications he’s mastered by turning his latest watch into a cold storage Bitcoin wallet.
The new Encrypto “Free The Money. Free The World” is only available to customers paying in cryptocurrency and functions as a ‘Deep Cold Storage Set.’
The 41mm black DLC-coated brushed titanium watch comes with its own unique QR Code public address etched into the dial as well as a sealed USB containing the private key, allowing you to check your balance directly through the dial.
Inside is an automatic Calibre FM 0800 movement with 42 hours power reserve while the watch takes its black and green color scheme from Bitcoin.
Muller produced the world’s first functional Bitcoin watch in 2019 with the Vanguard Encrypto developed in partnership with Regal Assets.
Just 500 pieces of Encrypto “Free The Money. Free The World” are being offered via Bitcoin.com, for the equivalent of 9,900 Euros ($12,000 USD), payable in six cryptocurrencies or Ether tokens.
Elsewhere in watches, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White joins forces with Braun for ongoing collaboration.
