Prada and adidas' Latest A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 Is Dressed in Gunmetal Gray
More sleek stylings from the Prada x adidas — or should we say Pradidas — partnership.

Prada and adidas‘ A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 has appeared in a cool-toned gunmetal gray colorway. An updated take on Prada’s classic America’s Cup boat shoe from 1997, the A+P LUNA ROSSA blends the Italian house’s luxurious flair with the technical know-how of the Three Stripes, making for a modern-day interpretation of luxury that gives equal footing to sustainability and style.
The second A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 to appear after a crisp white colorway released in December 2020, this gunmetal gray style offers a much more cool-toned set of shades than its predecessor but retains the same build. Semi-translucent synthetic uppers are constructed from recycled adidas PRIMEGREEN materials, and are referred to as a “hydrophobic shell” by Prada, nodding to their water-repellant nature — a hallmark of any boat shoe that’s worth its salt. Branding is largely kept to a minimum up top with a tonal Three Stripe midfoot graphic and an adidas heel hit.
Down below, midsoles boast two of the shoe’s signature details: a red Prada stripe on the heel and an extended rubber toe bumper that wraps around part of the toebox. Both of these pieces border the midfoot’s semi-translucent gray rubber, which houses a full-foot BOOST cushioning setup for unparalleled comfort. No-slip outsoles complete the look.
An official release date for this new Prada x adidas A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 has yet to be announced, but it’ll likely arrive later this year. Expect the MSRP to be set at $695 USD, in line with the aforementioned first release.
