Here Is Everything Announced at Nintendo Direct 2021
Including the rerelease of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword’ for the Switch.
During the most recent Nintendo Direct, the company announced a slate of games set to hit Nintendo Switch before the end of last year. The presentation led with the announcement of the HD rerelease of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword set to arrive on Nintendo Switch on July 16.
Skwyard Sword was originally released for the Nintendo Wii, but relied heavily on the controllers for its gameplay. Now, the company promises smoother combat thanks to the Switch’s faster processor. Nintendo also intends on releasing the special edition Joy-Con controllers to celebrate. However, The Legend of Zelda fans will be disappointed to hear that Nintendo has not revealed any news regarding the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Mario Golf Super Rush, the first Nintendo Switch Mario Golf title is slated to arrive just in time for summer on June 25, featuring new modes, stories and motion controls. Super Mario aficionados will be excited to hear that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is expected to receive several Mario-themed items available for purchase via the Nook Shop starting on March 1. There will also be a free update on the game, set to arrive on February 25.
Having just announced news of its arrival to the Xbox Series X/S and One, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is also coming to Switch, however no release date was officially announced.
Switch gamers can also look forward to the Ninja Gaiden trilogy release this summer and even a Splatoon 3 coming up later this year as well.
