There’s countless numbers of classical silhouettes found within the Nike archives, but perhaps one of the most popular is the Swoosh’s Blazer Mid ‘77 for its sleek look and buffet of wearable colors. For this early stage in the year, the silhouette is looking to cater to its women’s audience by being manufactured with a “Barcode” theme.

On this take, it’s the traditional greyscale uppers that do most of the heavy lifting while vintage-esque accents follow in behind. Like many Blazer Mids, this particular option makes use of the customary white leather base layers, and couples this up adjacent to stark black Swooshes and heel Nike lettering. “Sail” accents are painted across the throat and forefoot leather overlays, as well as the back side’s canvas paneling which hosts the aforementioned branding. The tongues are where its nickname comes from as they substitute the usual Nike Sportswear spell out for a non-scannable barcode pattern that’s backdropped in a smokey grey.

Beneath the upper, the midsoles and outsoles match up by continuing the aged look with “Sail” outers.

If interested in picking up a pair, they are available to buy now via select retailers like Fenom for $110 USD.

Elsewhere in sneaker news, official photos of the Air Jordan 1 High “Light Army” have emerged.
