Focusing on the artist’s famous Cow screen print series.
After enlisting graffiti artist TEACH for its “Yeah of the Ox” release, maharishi continues its Lunar Year of the Ox celebrations with a limited-edition collaborative capsule based on the artwork of Andy Warhol.
A continuation of its work alongside The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, maharishi has focused on the artist’s famous Cow screen print series for its latest unique release.
According to Warhol himself, the inspiration for cow image came from famed art dealer Ivan Karp, who is credited with the development of Manhattan’s SoHo gallery district in the 1960s.
Comprising organic cotton hooded sweats and T-shirts, the capsule features the iconic imagery on black, white and pink garments.
