COSTS Reconnects With FDMTL for QQ and PUPU Figures
Following their New Balance collaboration.
Reconnecting after their New Balance collaboration last year, COSTS and FDMTL have now put together their take on Tencent ISUX Lab‘s QQ and PUPU characters.
The limited-edition set of figures celebrates signature elements from the Shenzhen retailer and famed Japanese denim label. Dressing the main vinyl representations of QQ and PUPU is COSTS signature lychee pattern made up of splashes of the fruit laced between intertwining strands. Obscuring the pattern are perfectly crafted sheaths that covering the figures constructed of handmade boro denim swathes from Okayama, Japan. Complete with a back zipper closure the sheaths are easily removed to show off the different outlooks presented by the collaborative design.
Priced at ¥1,980 RMB (approximately $306 USD), the numbered COSTS x FDMTL ISUX QQ and PUPU figures are available now at COSTS. It is important to note all profits generated from the collaboration will be donated to Shenzhen’s Children’s Autism Fund.
