Kids, "Take Flight" to Outerspace With the 3D-Themed Air Jordan 1 Mid SE GS
The kids-exclusive features 3D glasses-inspired branding, technical data details, galactic prints, and much more.
Never did we think we’d be envious of a kids-exclusive sneaker as much as we are for the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE GS “Take Flight,” which combines a multitude of leather panels and 3D details with a technical space-like theme.
Served in a colorway of “White/Bright Crimson/Blue Hero/Black,” the “Take Flight” pair features a design that’s reminiscent of 3D glasses. White leather has been used on the toe box and mid-panel sections, while the loud digital print that sits atop an outerspace-like combination of black, blue and red hues covers areas such as the toe box, front-quarter eyestay, the collar, and the entire heel section.
This is intersected with a Swoosh that’s printed over and over with “Take Flight” in a blue and red color scheme, once more nodding to 3D glasses. Jordan Brand continues this on to the tongue where you’ll find a doubled-up Jumpman logo, while elements such as the metallic silver Air Jordan “Wings” logo on the lateral collar and the black laces contrast the overall design.
Rounding out this pair is its white midsole that’s branded with “MJ23,” noting Michael Jordan‘s professional basketball jersey number. As stated, this pair is exclusively (and unfortunately) just for kids, but there’s no harm in trying to get a pair for the collection over on Sivasdescalzo‘s raffle, where they retail for €90 EUR (approx. $108 USD).
