The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Gets Hit With a "Tropical Twist"
Devised with canvas uppers and Easter-friendly accents.
One of the more prolific non-retro silhouettes in Jordan Brand‘s camp right now is the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT as it has been unveiled several compelling colorways in the early months of the year. Following revealings of its impending Aleali May collaboration and GR-focused “Stadium Green” variant, the model is now piling on another iteration entitled the “Tropical Twist”.
The build of this new proposal to the lifestyle sneaker space is slightly different than from what we’ve seen on past iterations as instead of the toe boxes and quarter being crafted with leather, they opt for an angelic canvas. Next to these parts, sultry suedes which are dyed in with a muted purple hue make out the overlays, while brighter teals reflective of its moniker swathe the collars, and interior foam padding. More touches of muted purples also maneuver over to the Swooshes and tongue tabs, and come complemented by white branded hits. Sprinkles of bright orange and light green also get a seat at the table, the former wrapping the insole’s “Zoom Air” lettering while the latter forms the exposed towards the middle of the throat.
While its moniker is suggestive of a paradise vacation, the palette here also carries heavy Easter vibes which in turn could imply an arrival this Spring via Nike and select stockists.
